About the Recipe
This wonderful recipe is similar to a Chinese style fried rice but contains ingredients that are not typically associated with the dish. The ingredients in question are lemon juice, caraway seeds and dill. These three ingredients are key to its unique flavors, which compliment the traditional with the taste of something pleasantly unexpected.

Ingredients
1 batch of Steamed Long Grain Rice
100 grams (¾ cup) of diced zucchini
100 grams (¾ cup) of green bell pepper, diced
100 grams (¾ cup) of red bell pepper, diced
1-2 medium sized onions (230 grams), diced
4 large eggs, beaten
â…“ cup of salted butter
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil (or vegetable, canola, etc...)
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of dill (dry or fresh)
½ teaspoon of caraway seeds
½ teaspoon umami powder (Accent/MSG)
¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
Preparation
Prepare all the vegetables and seasonings ahead of time.

In a large non-stick pot, start with:
â…“ cup of salted butter
1 tablespoon of sunflower or peanut oil
Over medium-high heat, heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.
Add 4 beaten eggs and scramble.

Add 1-2 medium sized diced onions along with 2 teaspoons of minced garlic then stir fry until the onions are glazed.

Add:
100 grams (¾ cup) of diced zucchini
100 grams (¾ cup) of green bell pepper, diced
100 grams (¾ cup) of red bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon of dill (dry or fresh)
½ teaspoon of caraway seeds
½ teaspoon umami powder (Accent/MSG)
¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes then add the rice and mix well.

Add:
2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Stir-fry for 1-2 more minutes then remove from heat and serve.
