It's that time of the year again when we share traditional Christmas suppers with family and friends. To that end, I have added a few recipes that I hope will bring smiles to your table.

One of the truly Canadian holiday favorites is the ever-popular meat pie, or Tourtière.

I have added two great recipes, just in the nick of time. My recipes are much leaner than traditional recipes but lack none of the flavor.

One is a traditional meat pie recipe that everyone has come to love.

The other was is the result of a Mike's Food Lab experiment that changed meat pie for me forever. I started by using traditional seasonings but then added elements that are typical of a beef bourguignon. Both variations are delectable but , personally, I just can't get enough of the hearty and robust flavors of the bourguignon style meat pie. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Another holiday favorite is butter tarts. With my super flaky pie crust, these tarts are absolutely divine and sure to lead to over-eating.

I invite you to try my recipe by visiting my website or clicking on the image below.
