
About the Recipe
There is a certain sense of satisfaction that comes with making your own pickles. This brine is a breeze to make and has a wonderful flavor. Use it with your favorite vegetables and enjoy the pleasure of making your own preserves, like most folks used to do not so long ago.

Ingredients
Directions (for a 1 liter jar). For every extra jar, repeat the ingredients.
2 ½ cups of cold water
½ cup of white vinegar
½ cup of apple cider vinegar
½ cup of granulated white sugar
1 ½ teaspoons of pickling salt
2 teaspoons of celery seeds
2 tablespoons of mustard seeds
8 whole peppercorns
1 bay leaf
Preparation
In a saucepot, combine all the ingredients.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Let the brine boil for about 2 minutes

Remove from heat.
Add brine to jars.
